Michael Woody chaired the first meeting of the task force on international business organized by Promotional Products Association International at their headquarters in Irving, Texas, on October 21st. The task force is comprised of industry leaders representing companies from the U.S., Canada, Australia and Europe. The mission of the task force is to aid in defining PPAI's role as a global leader in the promotional products industry.

Suppliers' Forum Draws Frank Discussion From Industry Leaders
PPAI's Suppliers' Forum last week brought in top supplier industry leaders willing to share best practices and detailed strategies to the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California. The forum, which was planned to coordinate with the SAAC Show this year, also brought an increase in attendance over previous years.

Bjorn Harenstam, International Marketing Advantages – Europe, addressed business leaders on the subject of international brand building at a November conference in Stockholm sponsored by Ferrari.
